- The information you provided herein must be accurate, correct, and complete. Any willful dishonesty may render for refusal of this application or refusal of entry into Mongolia.
- To apply for an e-visa, your passport or relevant valid substitute must be valid for a minimum of 180 days before your intended travel.
- Visa fee is non-refundable once the transaction is complete, even if your visa gets issued/cancelled/denied/withdrawn.
- E-visa is non-extendable and non-convertible.
- A visa does not guarantee your entry into Mongolia, your entry can be refused at the time of arrival.
- Please carry a copy of the e-visa with you at the time of arrival and during your stay in Mongolia.
- Please arrive with the passport you provided in the application. If the applicant has obtained a new passport, he/she must carry the old passport on which the e-visa was issued.
- Biometric details of the applicant will be mandatorily captured at the border control office at the time of arrival.
- Once you have entered Mongolia, you will be subject to Mongolian laws.
- The inviting individual or organization or the entity that provides accommodation must register foreign nationals online within 48 hours after his/her arrival.

Terms and Conditions
Visa cannot be issued if you have previously participated in the “Work and holiday maker” or “Working holiday” programs.
Please note that you must register with the Immigration Agency of Mongolia within one working 7 days of your arrival in Mongolia.
Australian nationals applying for a "work and holiday maker" visa must meet the following criteria.
- Must be at least eighteen years of age to less than thirty-one years of age at the time of application;
- Must not be accompanied by dependent children
- Must have a valid passport and travel ticket, or have sufficient financial resources to purchase the ticket;
- Have sufficient financial resources to spend on personal use for work and leisure;
- Meet medical and character requirements (police statement);
- Previously hasn’t been enrolled in the “Work and holiday maker” or “Working holiday” program;
- Have bachelor or higher education certificate or at least two years of successful university education;
List of documents to be submitted:
- Financial guarantee /5,000 AUD + ticket fee/
- Travel ticket
- Medical examination
- Character requirements /police statement/
- University certificate or school certificate
- Letter from the relevant Ministry of the Government of the Federal Republic of Australia
